We manually build and maintain our link directory to insure that it remains relevant and that there is a fair exchange of links. INSTRUCTIONS
*Please note, that we generally respond favorably to other web site owners that have read and fully understand our guidelines. We do not engage in long email discussions or debates about the process, frankly, we just don't have the time for it. The following guidelines and instructions are meant to avoid miscommunication and or wasted efforts. It is in your best interest to read the guidelines so you don't waste time adding a link to us that will not be reciprocated.
Simply placing a link to our site on your web site does NOT guarantee that we will link back. If your site is relevant and reflects a real business, there will be no problem. Due to the high volume of link exchange requests that we receive our decision will be final, and we will not negotiate nor send an email with an explanation if the site submitted to us is deemed unacceptable.
The absolute best way to have your link included on our web site is to READ the guidelines below, then:
A.) Link to our web site(using one of the HTML snippets provided below).
B.) Complete the form at the bottom of this page to inform us you have linked to our site.
C.) Once you have done this, please allow 24-72 hours for us to place your link on our site.
OUR LINKING POLICY & GUIDELINES
1.) Your site must be relevant (related to fishing in some way).
2.) We reserve the right to accept or reject link exchange offers.
3.) The link directory on your site must be visible from your home page. In other words, there should be a link on your homepage, easily visible, that says "links" or something like it.
4.) The link directory page where our link is to be placed must be no deeper than 4 layers down. Example: Home Page>Links>Fishing Links>Fishing Tackle(or something similar)
5.) We are not interested in linking to web sites that place our link on a page where it is going to be buried among a massive list of over 50 other links.
6.) We give top priority to web sites and link pages that have page rank(PR) though we do consider all requests. If your site is new, upcoming and relevant, we will likely accept the exchange.
7.) We don't link to "made for adsense" or other junk/spam type web sites.
8.) We don't participate in 3-way indirect link exchanges.
9.) We don't exchange links with sites that use "no follow" (rel="nofollow") tags in the html code of their links directory. We do check for this.
10.) We routinely check our link exchange partners to verify that our link remains on your web site. We instantly remove all links to web sites that have removed or buried our link. *Generally speaking we only exchange TEXT LINKS, but if you own a related web site and you wish to exchange a banner or logo link, please contact us to discuss this exchange.
