We have totally redesigned the frog rod line-up with two new, ultra-powerful specialty rods designed for both open water and heavy cover. We’ve not only improved the action, but reduced the weight of these rods substantially. There’s a 7’ 9” rod with a magnum-heavy power-rating for the thick stuff that has more than enough strength to pull a big bass out of even the heaviest cover with sheer brute force, plus a 7’ 1” model with a heavy power-rating for fishing the new soft plastic frogs in open water where you don’t need quite so much power to get the fish to the boat. They’re both top water rods, pure and simple, but they’re designed specifically for fishing faux frogs.
