They are short of the liberal buoyancy of balsa lures (buoyancy is a key to generating smooth swimming action and avoiding obstacles), but these plastic crank baits can do what their balsa counterparts cannot: emulate the slow swimming action of live bait at a desired depth by accurately reflecting the angler’s slow reeling actions.
