Smallmouth bass can be finicky at times. They are always ornery, stubborn, difficult to catch and at times... downright mean, but boy can they fight! From Minnesota to Maine, Michigan to Tennessee, Alabama to the Columbia River of the Pacific Northwest, one thing remains true - those “Brown Bass” are tough no matter where you find them. They’ll test your temper, your patience and your tackle. We've spent years fishing with and picking the brains of literally hundreds of anglers that target smallmouth. We think you’ll like the results: the G.Loomis Bronzeback Series – 16 different models covering every technique for every piece of water where you find smallmouth. Whether you drag lizards or tubes, swim grubs or toss crankbaits, these rods will do everything you ask of them and more. They feature quick, responsive tips that telegraph even the lightest bite. The GLX rods feature Recoil guides. They are extremelyh light and are super-sensitive. The mid-range rods feature our “fiber blend technology”, have Fuji guides and responsive. The spinning rods have a special reversed reel seat with a short fore-cork so you can put your finger on the blank. All are finished in a beautiful Bronzeback Green/Brown.
