Instead of a bulky heat shrink barb, the Heavy Cover Worm features a small wire keeper. The keeper has a small compact profile and is strategically placed for superior holding power for plastics.

Finally!!! A flipping hook with a bait keeper that's ready to fish right out of the package! I don't know about you but I hate trying to burn a shrink wrap keeper on a worm hook in the wind or rain. It also takes TIME. The built in keeper on this hook is sized just right as to not catch as many weeds. Also, unlike other brands that come with a bait keeper already on the bait, this one has an all important welded eye. An all around very well designed hook.
