This super-tuned offering shares some similar components to the popular Daiwa Steez model, but has been lightened to an astonishing 5.32 oz, and features a Magnetic Spool Brake (PAT.P) that provides speed-dependent variable anti-backlash control, carbon fiber handles, and that incredibly detailed fit and finish that can only come from Megabass. The ITO Engineered Magnetic Spool Brake (PAT.P) features a dial on the left side-plate that allows for adaptive anti-backlash control; basically, the higher the dial setting and the faster the spool is turning, the more anti-backlash control is generated. This innovative feature expands the corrective range of a conventional reel’s ability to combat backlash, resulting in a reel that not only virtually eliminates backlash, but presents a featherweight low-profile and superior components to keep you comfortably competing tournament after tournament.
