We contacted one of the best hand pour manufacturers in the west and had them produce a soft bait based other popular lures!

Now you don't have to wait to get your hands on these deadly lures that are tearing up the tournament trail! This model, the Bowfish (paddle tail style swimbait), is a very close imitation in coloring to other popular lures. The action of the lures in the water is the same deadly tight natural swimming action that produces violent strikes from trophy bass and other big predators. These lures can be fished weedless or with an exposed hook.

How are these lures different from othe popular models like Basstrix?

The primary differences are that these lures have a split belly for easier hook insertion and better hook penetration plus the top of the lure is a flat surface and not rounded over which makes it easier to insert the hook point into the bait and still produce the correct swimming action because you do not have to hit the dead center of the bait with the hook point in order to produce a straight swimming action.

When it comes to the swimming action of the baits we would describe it as the same enticing side to side motion, if anything it may be more pronounced in this bait producing a more seductive action in the water at all speeds of retrieve. To get the maximum performance out of these baits we suggest a slow paced, slow rolling retrieve that allows the bait to swim in a relaxed side to side motion.

The durability of these lures is excellent and they tend to hold up longer than other swimbaits we have used. We have also had excellent success usinng the Pro's Soft Bait Glue to make repairs on the water.

Recommended Hooks(s)

*We generally recommend 5/0 or 6/0 hooks in a variety of weights depending upon the depth you intend to fish the baits. Both the Gamakatsu & Falcon hooks mentioned above work equally well, there is a bit more range in weights offered in the Falcon Bait Jerker hooks, though it should be noted that the actual hook model used in the Falcon hooks is the same Gamakatsu EWG Superline hook, Falcon simply buys the Gamakatsu hooks in bulk and manufacturers their own weighted versions.
